Artist's Comments

Well, after trying out a new coloring technique I found, I can safely say I'm incredibly satisfied with what I've done.

A bit tedious on some of the parts, but otherwise pretty fun to have done. I just hope you guys like this piece as much as I do. Feedback would be appreciated, if you wish to.

Also, if anyone would like to see a larger version of the picture, just tell me, and I'll upload it.

Edit: I blurred the background to Make Jessy stand out more, as well as uploaded a slightly larger picture.

Done in Photoshop CS2

Jessy is copyright to me.

Jesus... owo How'd you get the background?

fffffff how did i get here i am not good with signature
Oh my, this is amazing. This looks like one of those colored pages in a manga where it was all black and white but goes into color for the last page or something. I love the style, especially how professional it looks. The background being all muted is a nice touch as well. I'm not going to make anatomy comments. =P

Wow! Finally a colored digital piece! I love it. You need more in your gallery, you are so good at it.

I don't like that you can see the eye's lineart through the hair though. It kinda throws me off.
Oh god, please don't comment on the anatomy... I've made enough mistakes on that.

And yeah, I was thinking the same, considering it didn't look like some unknown guy on dA did it, but some manga artist.

Yeah, well now that I know a great technique for coloring, I'm sure I'll be doing many more.

The lineart through the hair is actually a common technique seen in everyday manga and anime.

Oh, I'm not much into manga and stuff so I wouldn't know.

It's all common sense, but unfortunately common sense isn't all that common.
